Active Autowerke Test Pipes for E9X M3 (P/N 11-019)

Made of 100% brushed stainless steel, these Test Pipes bolt right up to the factory exhaust headers. The Test Pipes feature a ** Z STYLE ** expansion slot at the rear of the Test Pipe to provide a tight exhaust gas seal. Also included are a set of new TORCA style clamps. These clamps are strong and robust with the beefiest in band width (a 14 mm shank bolt) to provide the highest degree of load when tightened. An additional support brace is also provided (just like the factory) to relieve load and stress if installed.

The gain in horsepower is achieved through the free flowing design of the Test Pipes, and by replacing the factory primary catalytic converters. By removing the factory primary catalytic converters, the exhaust flow restrictions of the OEM cats are removed. The installation of these Test Pipes will turn on the check engine light, due to the absence of the factory primary catalytic converters.
